It's Urgent Please Help....

Hi, I've created one mailing label report with
2 Across Than 3 down.But it displays the data
like
1 4
2 5
3 6
Is there a way to change the default orientation from Down then Across
to Across and then down like this ?

3 4
5 6

MalkeshOne idea ist to add a counter to your view and select only the datarows with
1, 3 ,5 ,7 ,9 ... and out them into ´1st column.
Then insert a subreport next to 1st column as col 2 and use the 2, 4, 6 ,8
... data rows from view.

But I'm Sorry, i need to explain the actual problem rather
giving you the layout.
Actually we have Event Badge Report with Badge Info is on Top
Left side and Receipt Info is On Top right side fro the event, and after that
as many tickets as individual is registered for shouls be print from next row.
So i need to layout the report Across tha Down.
How can i achieve this task ?

It is possible to hide/show a particular row or column?

Say, an original report displays
---
Supplier
Product 1
name
Price
...
Product 1
name
Price
...
---
Then our admin might want to hide price column so it will look like
---
Supplier
Product 1
name
...
Product 1
name
...
---
and then convert it into excel that doesn't show price.
or likewise the admin might not want name as well, so remove it from that
report.
Can it be done?

</Report>|||If I export your sample report to excel, the toggling does not work properly.
On the lowest level the unit prices are not shown if this category level was
collapsed in web before export. Furthermore if the category level was elapsed
before export, the toggling is per product name and not per category and the
unit prices don't become hidden.
Is this a bug?

Issues with Parameterised Report

Hi,

I want a matrix report which displays Sales Data or Discount Data (Column) Vs Year (Row). I want to have a parameter which displays a text as 'Sales', 'Discount'.

When I Select 'Sales', the report should display 'Sales Amount' Vs 'Year' and when I select 'Discount', the report should display 'Discount Data' Vs Year. I am getting all the data from OLAP Cube.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Create a string type parameter (say Parameter1) and have Available Values to be "Sales" and "Discount" (Non-queried)

In your matrix grouping (row or column), type the following expression:

IIf(Parameters!Parameter1.Value="Sales", Fields!Sales.Value, Fields!Discount.Value)

Issue with populating the parameters

Hi,
I am using crystal report 11.My dynamic parameter displays company codes (4 digits).While populating, company codes are displayed as seperated with commas.But i need to display full 4 digits without commas.
For example:- Database value : 2345 Dynamic parameter displays as 2,345. How to avoid this issue ?Try to use formula having the code totext(field).
or goto format field and dormat it not to have commas

Issue on Models displayed in Report Builder

I am launching the Report Builder from my web application. The launching works fine. The Report Builder displays all the models published on the Report Server, whereas the user launching the report builder doesnt have permission on most of the folders containing the models. The permission set on the folders individually (not inherit from parent) using Management Studio.

The Report Server and the Report Builder folder under that both are running with Integrated Windows Authentication.

Is there anything am missing to check ? I want the user should be able to see only those models, which he/she has been given permission to access.

For info, the web application from where the Report Builder is launched is using Forms Authentication. So, Anonymous Access is enabled. If this is the problem, can I create a separate web page and inside a folder (under website) and apply Integrated Windows Authentication to the folder and launch Report Builder from the web page. Will it work ?
